Unapologetically Authentic
This poem speaks of self-worth, resilience, and faith. A girl once lost in others' expectations now embraces her authenticity. Through struggle, she finds freedom—not in approval but in protecting her soul. No longer a pawn, she owns her story, knowing she is deeply loved, created with purpose, and carried by the One who turns burdens into blessings.
Flowers Die
This piece tells two stories at once. One follows a flower from garden to vase, the other a woman from her quiet, contented life into a world that only wants to see her bloom. Read them separately and together. The comparison is the point. May it sit with you long enough to ask what we are really celebrating when we celebrate beauty, and what we quietly discard in the process.
A Journey Home
This poem reflects the journey of a soul seeking authenticity, love, and understanding within both the church and the world. It explores the tension between the comfort of home and the longing for real connection.
